Thanks for this update. Both great news. The movie is a long time coming and very exciting.
I guess we'll just have to wait but if you hear anything about casting let us know. I can't even imagine.
Peace...............

I find it disturbing that the movie is being produced by the kid "Reese" from Malcolm in the Middle. What is he, like 17 years old? As for casting, since it sounds like they are focusing on 80s Jerry, how about someone like John C. Reilly? I can picture that. -- Stewart

Dude! Google search the article in Variety about this flick. It sounds like it will end up a disaster. Hope someone stops it!
Peace............

The Amphitheater naming was really nice. My dad and I went. Talked with Mountain Girl, Tiff Garcia and the Mayor. All nice folks.

But that movie sounds HORRIBLE doesn't it.
Who they going to get to play Jerry???!! Just the thought of those people casting it sends shivers down my back.
Who they going to get to play ME...heh heh...Frankie Muniz!!!

Chiming in from Seattle tonight. Out here on business. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure a Jerry movie would be that great anyway. I would be afraid that it would focus too much on his weaknesses and faults and not enough on what made him truly great. Wasn't there supposed to be a movie about Janis and Pigpen? That would of been interesting!

Justin - I'm jealous of course. Sounds like it was a great event. How is MG doing these days BTW?

Reese is on the bus? I kind of find that quite cool.
