A Belated Happy New Year!

Forgot to say to all my Jewish brothers and sisters out there, a belated L'shanah tovah! It's been a very hectic past week with the holiday, work's been busy enough, but having to make up for a day being out...plus a busy weekend, I haven't been able to concentrate on this blog, or more importantly my One Week in May '77 series. I hope to have Part 5, (5/9/77) out in the next couple days. Still looking for that magic formula that made that week such a spectacular one...

Mark - Good posts on Jerry's Guitar and the Chet Helms festival. Quite a lineup, wish I could be there. In regards to Ann Coulter, we'll have to agree to disagree there. I'm an Al Franken man myself, so that should tell you all you need to know about how I feel about Ms. Coulter. Just goes to show that we do come in all shapes and sizes (an political persuasions.

Ooogy - Welcome!

Ben - Al Franken has his moments, albeit, I think they are rare.

I like all sorts of commentators, right, left, and center, and not a few I refuse to listen to at all (like that blowhard Rush Limbaugh). LOL

But if it came doen to having to choose to spend any length of time locked in a room with Coulter or Franken, I choose Coulter - She's a confirmed Deadhead and one hell of a lot easier on the eyes than Franken!

Mark - I'm surprised and a bit disappointed that you would diss Franken, a fellow tribesman and as big of a Deadhead as there ever was, a member of the band's inner circle, for a WASP-y deadhead-wannabe like Coulter ;-) We're going to definitely have to agree to disagree on that one.

That's about as political as I'm going to get here though. In the spirit of The Dead, this blog is a politics-free zone.

Ben - That's A-OK, I wouldn't have brought it up here if you hadn't. I like to keep politics and the Dead separate as well, except at my blog. All who wish to join in there or stay out, as they desire, are welcome.

As Helen so regularly reminds us,

Peace.
